Exhibitions Special Interest Group

Picture
Group Co-ordinator: Peter Stevens
Group Members: Too numerous to mention, but we get a regular attendance of around 15
Meets monthly: on 4th Tuesday of the month, 8.00pm, normally in the Randall Room (i.e. small room in Hall) but have been occuring virtually since 23rd June 2020. An invite will be sent to members a few days beforehand.

The purpose of the group is to improve our photography by discussion, illustration, encouragement and enthusiasm. We meet outside the formal structure of the club programme. There is no formal agenda.  Different members will lead the discussion, but we intend to look at our favourite photographers, both inside and outside the camera clubs circuit, and explore why we like them.  We will show our own photographs and get feedback and constructive comments from other members. Occasionally we will demonstrate Photoshop techniques that are relevant to the particular photographs. We will also look at exhibitions and competitions and encourage members to participate.

If you would like to join the group please email Peter Stevens
