Important Notice Re: COVID-19In line with current Government Guidance, the Harpenden Photographic Society programme for 2021 – 2022 is planned to be live at the Harpenden Trust Hall. This is subject to any restrictions that may be applied by The Harpenden Trust. We will be monitoring the situation carefully and the programme will be switched to Zoom if necessary. An email message will be sent to all members prior to each meeting confirming the meeting location.
The Safety of members is important - so we will resume face to face meetings on the basis that it is deemed safe to do so, and with any necessary safety procedures in place. See HPS COVID 19 Guidance HERE Harpenden Photographic Society caters for all abilities – from beginner to the more advanced photographers. We are a lively and growing club of around 90 active members. Our meeting are held from September to June on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
Our varied programme gives members to chance to enjoy and improve their own photography, and to mix and chat with other likeminded enthusiasts. Visiting speakers are drawn from well-known amateur and professional photographers and give members the opportunity to learn and be inspired by work of many different types and genres. You are more than welcome to attend three meeting before deciding to join, but note that non-members are not allowed to enter the competitions or exhibition.
