Studio Photography
The aim of this group is to explore the techniques and art of studio photography.
Group Co-ordinator: Torben Cox
We have found a new amazing studio in Daventry, which has 2 huge spaces with natural light as well as a mass of flash lighting. See images for shots of the studio.
Each session with a different style of model is organised so that each member gets 2 hours of studio time with a model, working in pairs. This makes the shoots more manageable and cost effective. Torben stays to help with lighting etc for the length of the shoot so don’t worry if you haven’t had any experience with lighting etc… help is on hand. + the studio photographer is very friendly and helpful.
The cost of the model and studio for the 2 hours (in pairs) is approximately £50 each depending on the amount the model charges and any travelling costs.
The only requirements are that you have a camera with a hotshoe - for the flash trigger - and that you are reasonably familiar with manual control of your camera as well as with f-stops and the effects of different apertures.
All members would be very welcome to join us.
