Iain Fry LRPS
I have been interested in photography from an early age, but only with any serious artistic intent since the early 1960s when I entered the mysteries of the 'darkroom' while living in Canada.
Many years and cameras later, I left the 'dark side' and embraced the modern digital world. This led to an explosion of techniques and ideas that are still with me today.
I have no allegiance to any particular genre but rely on the inspiration of light, colour, texture and shape. My current obsession is with street photography and the idea of capturing the fleeting moment.
"It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see" (Henry David Thoreau).
