Art On the Common

In 2015 Harpenden Photographic Society was asked to take over the running of "Art on the Common – Harpenden’’, a two day art show. AOTC has now developed into Hertfordshire’s premier outdoor art event, displaying and selling
original and exciting pieces by local artists and crafts people.

The event is held on a wonderful tree lined section of Harpenden Common, close to the Town Centre, and has become an established part of the Town’s Summer Programme. Saturday coincides with the Summer Carnival which generates
considerable interest and footfall.

​The event raises money for charity through pitch sales and artists’ commission.
