Camera Club of the Year 2017
Members of the Harpenden Photographic Society can participate in the Camera Club of the Year competition 2017
The Final
Harpenden's second year entering the Camera Club of the Year competition and for the second year we're in the Final. Four members are representing the Society in a intense day of photography and image preparation with the best images being judged against the best images from all other finalist clubs The competition comprises of 5 photo challenges shot with 5 different Fuji cameras all images to be presented to the judges within the one hour time frame.
HPS came 3rd in the Final competition, with New City winning the event, coming in the top 5 clubs and Societies in the country is a magnificent achievement. Hopefully urging members to enter their images next year.

Round 5- Landscape
We scored a total of 79 in this competition coming in joint 9th, the 1st and 2nd clubs in the competition had already qualified for the final so Great Notley Photography Club were the winners with a score of 86
The format is 2000px on the longest side, in sRGB colour space and 72dpi.

HPS came first in the Acton competition with three other clubs tied for secondd place with 89 points. Congratulations to members who submitted entries that gave the Society top marks. now on to the next round
