Competitions

Competitions provide a great opportunity for members to develop their photography. Showing images and getting constructive feedback from an external judge is valuable learning experience and the element of competition adds a bit of fun.

Whether new to photography, an accomplished photographer or anything in between, all members are encouraged to enter images for Internal competitions and to offer images for selection to represent HPS in External Inter Club competitions.

Internal Competitions

Whilst being an important source of great images for External Inter club competitions, entering Internal Competitions is the ideal way for less experienced Members to take that scary first step to expose their work for comment.

External Competitions

Each year Harpenden Photographic Society participates in a number of Inter Club Photographic Competitions and Members are encouraged to offer their best images for selection.
